Start Up Kashmir Business Plan Competition
Ist Round Submission lines open from 3^rd May 2012 – 14th June 2012

Business Sectors:

Agribusiness (eg. Mushroom cultivation, poultry farming, lavender oil, etc.)

Handicrafts (Embriodery, Carpets, Shawls, wood carving, etc.)

Tourism (Adventure tourism, boutique hotels, fast food kiosks, etc.)

Information Technology, IT Enabled Services & Business Process Outsourcing (e-commerce, website design, internet portals, etc.)

Green Business (Recycled paper products, bio fuels, solar power, etc.)

Business Plan Selection:

400 business plans will be shortlisted as finalists by an expert panel of judges

Training:

All 400 shorlisted finalists will attend a Bootcamp on Business Planning & Presentation & will have an opportunityto revise & submit their business plans.

Live Competitions

400 shortlisted finalists will present their business plans to an expert panel of judges & live audiences.

200 Youth Start-Up Winners will Recieve:

Mini seed award (a redeemable voucher for high value start-up enterprise support services)

One-on-one mentoring to improve business plan

Access to Apprenticeship and mentoring opportunities

Business Registration Support Services

Enrollment in a world-class business start-up training & access to financial support

How to participate?

            1. Participation open only for Kashmiri youth belonging to age group of 18-32 years.

            2. Download a free copy of B-Plan Application Form and Handbook (Click here to download ) or collect  your                                            free hard copy of B-Plan Application Form from your nearest collection spot at your own district.

           3. Submit your completed/filled B-plan Application Form online (Click here to submit) or you can drop back the

              completed hard copy  of your at the nearest collection spot at your own district
